Abstract

With increased automobile manufacturing and global population, additional parking areas and infrastructure are needed. A new parking system named Smart Parking System (SPS) is suggested in this concept to help vehicles identify spaces available in a parking in less time. We will construct and implement a Smart Parking Prototype system in this project. The automatic car parking system is totally automated; this type of technology is ideal for addressing the issue of a restricted number of parked cars in metropolitan areas. The new technology employs infrared sensors to identify vehicle park occupancy or inappropriate parking behavior. To select the optimal technique for building SPS, many detecting methods are studied and compared. Utilizing the use of particular LEDs, SPS features involve
empty parking space identification, improper parking detection, showcase of parking areas, and dimensional markers forward into parking areas, payment facilities, and various kinds of parking spaces (devoid of life, inhabited, reserved, and handicapped). This study also shows how to use an SPS technology from the time you enter a car park until you discover an empty space. The system architecture specifies key design elements such as sensor placement, the amount of sensors necessary for each level, and interior and outdoor notice boards.
